2009 Eyes Over Africa Poster Calendar Michael Poliza's photographs are breathtakingly beautiful. His composition is completely different from any other photographer I have seen and it is superb. The images of Africa look like incredible patterns until you get close and see they are actual aerial shots or unusual angles. The downside of the calendar is that the design is silly for a calendar. I bought the calendar so I could look at a lovely design AND be able to use it enter in information and diary dates for the family. For that purpose it is completely useless as the background colour is black which means you cannot write anything on it. In addition, the days of the week are not marked and only Sunday is indicated by being grey and the other six days are in white ink. Very stylish but completely impractical as a calendar. I loved Michael Poliza's photo's so much that I am using the calendar but had to buy another calendar to write information and dates on. I would have though that te Neus Publishing would have had enough experience in designing calendars to not make such a silly mistake - especially seeing as the calendar is �25.00! But buy it for the photos, you won't regret it.
