5.0 out of 5 stars Stunning, beautiful and inspirational., 13 Dec 1999
By A Customer
This book captures the very essence of these noble creatures. Stunning photography throughout the book is supported with profound and sometimes moving quotations. Many of the photos are taken from unusual perspectives and often of whole herds, left roaming wild and free. If you love horses, this book is simply a must.

3.0 out of 5 stars Flawed Gem, 23 Jun 2004
The author's love of horses and feel for their aesthetic shines through. Sadly almost every picture is out of focus, creating the impression that the photos have been blown up from a much smaller scale. If the photos were cripser this would be a great book, but as it is the experience is too much akin to going to the cinema without your glassess.
