5.0 out of 5 stars One for visual post-modernists who love modernist roots., 29 Dec 2001
By A Customer
The size and weight of a healthy source book, 'sixties design' presents hundreds of examples of visual brilliance without dipping too far into Beatlemania or The King's Road as most less-developed treatments are prone to do.

Some would be unhappy with the lack of text, but for the true aesthete this is not a problem. The text which does accompany the images offers side-by-side-by-side (English, German and French) translations and allows scope for field-specific language learning and/or reinforcement.

Great.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best design book ive read!, 24 Feb 2002
By A Customer
I loved this book so much! There are loads of colour photographs but also a lot of information to go with it. I am interested in the sixties as well as design so this was perfect. I would recommend it to anyone with similar interests. A very good price too!
