Some will see this as art, others as pornography and to be fair it treads a fine line between. The book consists of short photosets that convey sexual encounters or fantasies. They are quite explicit at times, and have a more reportage style than fine art style. Some shots would be quite at home in top shelf magazines, others are quite simple and beautiful, but overall the book is more about fantasy than reality.
Certainly it defies conventions however. This is not a sanitized, asexual study of form. It's about sex, and does not follow conventions of beauty. Women are often dishevelled, with smudged make up, unshaven and certainly not plastic supermodels.
Despite its explicitness and somewhat seamy approach however, it still intrigues and captivates, and manages to avoid the hard, cold and uncompromising feel of commercial porn. One for the voyeurs, and differently aroused perhaps ?
