I found this book to be a very good overview of all the basic kinds of solid-liquid separation technology. I have used this book to both grasp the basics and to enable technology deselection on projects. It makes good use of simple maths models to illustrate points without baffling the reader with heaps of differential equations. I liked the diagrams and pictures and would not have minded more of them.

I would recommend this book to a practising engineer who needs to get a grip of solid-liquid separation in the early stages of a project. I certainly found it very helpful.
