Meteor von Dan Brown
In der Arktis wird ein Meteor gefunden, der höchstwahrscheinlich Zeichen außerirdischen Lebens birgt.
Ein Wissenschaftler-Team und die die NASA machen sich daran den Fund aus dem ewigen Eis zu bergen.
Doch da erscheinen Kräfte, die ihre eigenen Interessen verfolgen.
Bei allen wissenschaftlichen Hintergrundinformationen geht es Dan Brown aber hier nicht um die Wissenschaft, sondern es geht um knallharte politische Intrigen, von denen der „normale" Bürger natürlich nichts erfahren darf. Was da hinter verschlossenen Türen abläuft ist so erschreckend, ob das wirklich alles nur Fiktion ist?
So kommt das Ende für den Leser nicht wirklich überraschend. Aber wie Brown dorthin führt ist wieder einmal sehr spannend zu lesen.
