4.0 out of 5 stars A good start, 15 Sep 2003
By A Customer
This book is written from the point of view of a wedding photographer wanting to move into digital having been used to film. I'm a digital snapper wanting to turn into a photographer so it wasn't quite right for me as I already knew the basics of digital photography, but there was enough in there to give me ideas about how to develop as a wedding and portrait photographer. The book has lots of little case studies of British photographers showing their images and how they run their businesses.

Pros - lots of photos to give you ideas on lovely glossy pages.
Cons - Little about how some of the images were technically created.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good, 16 Mar 2004
A nice book for ideas and information on going digital, although not aimed at the complete beginner, if you have a good knowledge of Photoshop or similar software this book may seem a little basic.

The images are well printed and have given me a variety of ideas although some technical information or lighting plan would be nice. The information about individual photographers’ experiences are interesting.

Overall a nice book for ideas and examples or if you are a film photographer wanting to do more digital work and learn the techniques.
