4.0 out of 5 stars The Big Graphic Designer's Book, 13 Sep 2002
This book is big, i mean really big. Not so big that reading it you look like someone who's not grown properly but still big. 15" high i'd say and packed with Design-a-rama.

Avoiding the opinionated mine field the designers featured in this book have been selected by renowned designers. They each pick a favorate and then no-one can complain about the judges. A page on the established designer and a couple of pages on their chosen 'new' designer.

A broad range of styles are found within and for a change its written in a language that doesn't sound like the most boring thing you've ever read.

The only problem is that there isn't enough stuff in here. With such a big book i would have loved to see the pages brimming with 100% pure design, but its more refrained and more akin to a exhibition guide (except its too heavy for that, 15" high i said).

Great to see the state of modern graphic design, if it were longer and would actually fit into my book shelf it would be 5 stars.
