Title: Arabic Audio and Phrase Book, Berlitz, 1998. This small book is very comprehensive and easy to use. It is divided into different sections for ease of reference: Transport, Health, Dictionary, etc. The accompanying tape allows you to learn the correct pronouncitation, and take part in some simple exercises. The book/tape combination is perfect for situations such as, travels to Arabic countries, dining in Arabic restaurants in a non-Arab country, or for small talk. The book's handy format allows you to take it everywhere with you. A great starting point for learning Arabic!
