I can't tell you how disappointed I am with this book. When I read the product description I was thoroughly convinced it was about French homes decorated with vintage and antique pieces from French flea markets and antique shops. However, it turned out to be a GUIDE to French flea markets and antique shops. The photographs are beautiful, but I wasn't really expecting it to be a guide. I thought it was all about homes and interior decoration but I couldn't be more mistaken. Nonetheless, if you're looking for a guide to flea markets and antique/vintage shops all over France, then this is the book for you.

This is one of the most beautiful books I have come across and as it had only previously been given one star I felt I had to say how much I enjoyed reading this book. I bought it as a present for my Mum but wanted to keep it for myself! If you like antiques and rustic, French style then you will really like this book. Yes, it is a guide to the flea markets of France, which you may not be expecting but I found it really inspiring. The pictures in the book are great, you don't need to be planning visits to French flea markets to enjoy this book.
