It's been three weeks...i've waited for my whole book...just lovely, nothing is going to be between this meeting with my favorite novel ever. Proust has the ability to create a parallel universe, and master the convergence of characters, each and everyone has an important play in the scene, and it goes on and on, you just can't stop reading it, and now it's imposible, no more switching books, the whole story. Just Great.

Proust's name is often used by wags (the aspiring humourist type, not the sort who appear regularly in the tabloids) to make it seem as if their choice of reading material speaks reams about them. OK, it does. But this magnificent book, here complete, is so life affirming, all thoughts of trying to sound like John Cleese in The Cheese Shop have to take a back seat. Give it a go in the original French. Take years to read it. Then read it again. You'll love it. A good price, too, for the whole 10 books in one. Tip: only read an English translation if you really must.
