This is an excellent choice for anyone planning a trip to Austria and travelling around the country. It has a wealth of information on towns and cities for all the regions of Austria and also contains many of the tourist attractions and "must-see" sites. I used the book to plan my driving holiday around Austria and found it invaluable in picking the places I wanted to see and what to do when I was there. It's small enough to take on day trips and has very detailed information for the bigger cities which again proved invaluable. Although perhaps a little "dry" to read, this is made up for by the sheer volume of information and I found that information to be very accurate. The small maps included for certain cities could have been slightly better, as I found them to be only of limited value when navigating the city by car, however they were adequate for navigating round the town centres by foot. Overall, I feel this is a book a serious traveller to Austria should definitely not be without.
