After reading The Bodyguard, I was anxious for #2 in the series. The Bodyguard was funny and fun to read, but this one tops the first. Professional bodyguard Natasha Chamberlain's self-employed and ready to take on the world. She's a little disappointed her first job will be guarding Chumley, a show dog, but when the dog's owner asks her to find out who's threatening the pug, Natasha signs on in a hurry. Chumley is a handful when his mistress isn't around but Natasha falls in love with the dog and becomes overzealous in her efforts to protect him as well as find out who's threatening him. Her lover, sexy hunk Striker, finds himself bailing Natasha out of trouble time after time, worrying about her wacky methods of investigation, and trying to find a way to convince Natasha the bodyguard field is too dangerous.

Pit and Bigun, the dynamic duo, are around for more fun. The chapter about the massage parlor is hilarious! Roger's back in the fray with a girlfriend who seems more interested in his money than Roger. Brutus, Natasha's and Roger's Weimaraner, is around for more fun. I love that dog!

Read the professional reviews and you'll see this book is a winner. I'm still laughing over this one and now anxiously await #3.Did I read it involves a rock star from England? Cool!

Dear Readers,

Some of you may note that this book is shown as unavailable. Good news is the first-print run sold completely out. Bad news, there was a glitch in ordering the second-print run in time to forestall any delay in delivery of the book. But I've been advised by my publisher that The Bodyguard and the Show Dog will be available once more on October 13th. I apologize for the delay and thank you for your patience.

I am such a Christy French Fan!!!! I have had the pleasure of reading all of her GREAT books and highly recommend ALL of them. Christy is an author you can count on to keep both the romance and the mystery going. Her characters are believable and very very entertaining!!! I say give her a try and you too will become a fan just like me!!! Order this book and do yourself a huge favor and go ahead and order the remaining books by Christy French save yourself the time. Take my word for it you will not want to wait for them to arrive from Amazon you'll want to go from one book to the next without having to wait. YES, her stories are that good!!!
