This review is from: Cosplay Girls (Paperback)
If you are already involved with Cosplay, this is not the book for you. It offers little in terms of tips to make costumes and does not contain design patterns or sewing techniques. However, if you are perhaps interested in introducing Cosplay into your life, this book is much more worthwhile. It is packed with plenty of photos from various Cosplay conventions, and also gives the names of the characters whom people are posing as. Unfortunately, I found the photos (the predominant content of the book) rather disappointing in quality - washed out and amateur looking and lacking in vibrancy. The whole book seems a little 'pasted together' and doesn't really offer more than the official cosplay website. It is a fun book to have, and it will give you plenty of ideas for female anime/game costumes; but overall a little disappointing.
