Ken Bruen is an uncut diamond. I have read several of his novels and they are so absorbing the pages turn themselves.
In this offering the English cricket team is being systematically assasinated...not before time you will agree.
The fact that it is three books in one is a real bargain - you will kick yourself if you get the individual books and read them out of order. This is because the introduction to the characters is like a metered doseage..they are half palateable through gradual, chronological ingestion.
Unpredictable and dark, a highly recommended read that's as addictive as it is entertaining and in keeping with the high standard that Bruen has set himself.
