Product Description

Product Description

This book helps you prepare and prevail in the end of times after 2012. In his previous books, Patrick Geryl presented a detailed scenario set to take place in the year 2012: the complete and utter destruction which has occurred in Earth's past and will occur again. The sun's magnetic poles sometimes reverse, causing massive solar flares that lash out into the solar system. These disrupt the Earth's magnetic field and reverse the Earth's magnetic poles' rotational direction. The Earth's outer crust will be thrown into chaos, with planet-wide earthquakes, volcanoes and tidal waves reshaping landmasses and seas in a matter of hours. Civilisation as we know it will end as very few humans will survive. But the obstacles are not insurmountable. Here is a blueprint to survive the disaster. Geryl explains in detail the myriad problems survivors will encounter, and the precautions that need to be taken to overcome them.

"What would you do if you had five more years to live?", March 23, 2007
Reviewer: marsmoon - See all my reviews
This is the question that comes to mind when considering the thesis of Patrick Geryl's book, How to Survive 2012? Based on his research and the deciphering of mathematical codes left by ancient scholars, a cataclysmic event will soon overwhelm the planet. This is the third in a series of his books about the devastating destruction that the author has discovered is coming in 2012---a planetary geophysical pole reversal.

The first part of the book discusses his voluminous research from several different disciplines including mathematics, ancient texts, archaeology, geology, cartography, mythology, astronomy, and physics that led him to conclude that a pole reversal will happen in 2012. Such a shift of the earth's crust would result in the destruction of civilization and the deaths of most of the world's population. The author can get quite graphic in his description of what would happen during and following a pole reversal. However, I find that there is a wisdom and compassion in his style of writing. It is to prepare the mind like an inoculation so that when actual conditions present themselves, one can act.

Patrick's writer's voice is clear, logical, enthusiastic, and strident. He believes that the devastation of 2012 is going to happen. It has happened thousands of times in the history of the earth, he contends, in clock-like fashion. The compelling aspect about Patrick to me is that he presents himself as a sincere person, a diligent, self-made scholar who has put together the pieces of the puzzle into a huge mosaic until the picture becomes clear and the arrows point to one central message. If you ever wondered why the Egyptians and Mayans labored for generations to build pyramids, wouldn't warning future generations of a planetary cataclysmic event be such a reason? It so happens that our technology just now in this generation has reached a point to be able to decipher the symbols and messages contained there.

If pole reversal is coming in 2012 how can it be that our top scientists are not warning us about it, and how is it that they don't know about it? Patrick claims that he has cracked the code mathematically and it is evident in the book that he has been thinking about this voluminous topic deeply for many years. Many breakthrough discoveries have come from independent persons who thought about things from different angles in totally new ways. What distinguishes his book in an area of rapidly mounting interest is the quality of his analyses and the manner in which he came upon his discovery. He claims that he has deciphered the messages of warning left for us by our ancestors in the pyramids, in the Mayan calendar, Dendera Zodiac, the Nazca lines, and the ancient myths and legends. The great controversy lies not in if he is wrong, but if he is right. If he is right, then he could be warning us of the inevitability of the most tumultuous event in the history of humanity. While the implications of what he is presenting would call upon us to totally change our way of life, this warning might allow for humanity to prepare and for some of us to survive to carry forth our wisdom and knowledge for future generations. If the poles shifted do you know how your area would be affected? Find out how to prepare and where the safe zones will be.

1.0 out of 5 stars Come here and stroke my ego, 29 Jun 2009

(TOP 1000 REVIEWER)
One of the first things that become apparent upon reading this book is the amount of sentences that start with I. I deciphered this I discovered that I calculated this. It becomes annoying and seems a tad egotistical on the part of the author.

So we are all going to die in a horrendous cataclysm involving a polar shift ! I've come across this theory before and I find it both intriguing and frightening. But this guy takes the biscuit !! He reckons he will save a select few then restart civilisation and usher in a golden age of vegetarianism and tranquility. Now any lucid person reading this book will realise that what this man is attempting to do is to start his own cult and raise himself to the rank of a modern day messiah. And the sting in the tail is unlike Jesus Christ we will not be saved for free no for salvation has just acquired a monetary value, and God knows what other conditions will be applied, busty blondes only perhaps ? But I digress.

This book is full of conjecture with the gaps filled in with spurious material gleaned from other sources, Visit this guys website and he will politely tell you not to contact him as time is running out, I agree time is precious so I will waste no more of it on this abomination. Don't become prey !!

2.0 out of 5 stars dissappointing, 30 Aug 2008
By A. Wilson-suffield (UK) - See all my reviews

I recently purchased this book over amazon and was really intrigued. As this was the first book on the subject that I had found except ofcourse the orion prophecy, I was a bit annoyed that the author kept referring to other works of his. Every other paragraph seemed to begin with 'as you will already know from my other works' etc.

I found this really irritating as I hadn't read all the other books and from the way the author chose to constantly reference himself I felt that maybe this was a book simply made to further stroke his ego!

Although I find the subject completely and utterly intriguing and scary at the best of times as he is very honest about the various situations that may occur, I also found that the book seems to draw on data that couldnt be disproven until the forthcoming date....

I hope the end doesnt come but all in all the book gave me something interesting to read
