No good just buying this one alone - you need the Campaign Setting book as well (of course - trust Gaming to make you buy all the books) - this is why there are no Knights, Wizards, etc in the Age of Mortals - the are all in the DL Core reference book. I guess an easy mistake to make (!) - should have been "Cheated" instead?

As for my review - very good book if you like 5th Age, which I don't. Well presented, high-ish standard of artwork and well thought through.

an importent note, this book alone is not a full setting, you need the "dragonlance campaign setting" aswell, this mainly fills in the gaps of the other book and updates it to the most recent settings.
as a suppliment this book is excellent and is well catagorized, has some funky new content in it aswell such as new races and particulerly prest classes.
a great invent ment i found coz it has alot of detail on most recent race politics and alliences that really flesh out the game world.
