Three generations of my family (aged from 6 years to 70) have read this action packed, thought provoking book. It is beautifully written and kept each one of us enthralled. It is the type of book which would be well suited to school libraries, as it particularly provided "food for thought" to the younger readers.

Fantastic rollercoaster read of adventure, myth and magic! I read this book with my 11 yr old son - we loved every page! Tom is very real and my son could easily relate to him. Very powerful book about the skulls, even more exciting because they really do exist! Brilliant first book from a great author, Lynn Florkiewicz! :)
