Product Description
Len Gilmore is the victim of a bloody murder and is found with a certain body part hacked off and stuffed in his mouth! Then Mrs Winklehorn - or is that Mr Winklehorn? - suspiciously falls from the upstairs flat window and mysteriously disappears. To add to the confusion, a little Colombian git, Juan Garcia, becomes a suspect after taking a shot at a police officer. Then, there's Kate Dunkerley - twitchy and jittery one minute, back in control the next - with very puzzling, suspicious behaviour...Lynn Phillips provides a tremendously enjoyable read in this sequel to "Watford Under Wood".
About the Author
Watford is a pleasant town, unjustly derided by some. But Lynn Phillips knows better. After a work history zigzagging through different countries and occupations, her final job before becoming a full-time writer was in an office a few hundred yards from Shady Lane Police Station - in Watford. With a background as diverse as a cowgirl in a farm in Suffolk, running a laundry on a kibbutz, and for many years as the International Advertising Manager for Outspan, she now keeps her hand in by working part-time for the Hillingdon Police. She has had a number of prize-winning short stories published, and Moon over Watford is the second of her Watford series of novels to appear in print. The prize-winning Watford under Wood was the first.
