About the Author

Agueda Gouveia Nunes has always been a bookworm. She qualified as a Primary School teacher (Bachelor of Arts Degree and Higher Diploma in Education) and, after having spent some time in the Information Technology world, went on to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a writer. She loves life, children and dolphins. Her heroes are people like Nelson Mandela, who have made a significant difference in the lives of others. Her passion for the emotional well-being of children, as well as the love for her own children, have been the greatest inspirations for her writing. Agueda, of Portuguese ancestry, was born and bred in South Africa. She is married and is the proud mother of two children, living with her family in Johannesburg.
