As a teacher of young children I am always on the look-out for something different to read to the children, and for the older children to read for themselves. "The Humdinger Adventures: The quest for the secret honey formula" ticks all the boxes I look for in a book. It's exciting and funny; informative; beautifully illustrated and well written; a cracking good read! I recommend it highly. Does the title suggest there may be other books in the pipeline? I hope so!
I shall look out for other Humdinger stories, and hope to discover more about these delightful characters. The children and I eagerly await more ecological tales of the bees and their adventures.
Brilliant!

I would definitely recommend this book. It's funny, has a great cast of characters and will keep children interested to the end. The writing is excellent, the illustrations are fantastic and the storyline gripping. A great read for kids.
