Product Description

Steve Brailsford, Journalist
I found There Falls No Shadow a powerful piece which pulled few punches...has the awful ring of truth.

Lynne Sweetman, Editor, Survivors magazine
I think its terrific. It’s much harsher than Survivors or Triffids.

5.0 out of 5 stars A new John Christopher / Terry Nation, 9 Dec 2005
In Mr Crossleys first part of the trilogy we develop the ground and the initial list of main characters. The story, set in Scotland, sets off at a cracking pace as a pandemic blitzs the worlds population. The gathering of a motley group of survivors develops swiftly into a well knit exciting read as the edge of the seat adventure moves up a gear. David Crossley has hit the apocalyptic and post apocalyptic book genre for six and I am eagerly awaiting the next two parts of this trilogy. The thought of it being turned into a TV series, with the power and growing a cult status of such similar lines as Survivors by Terry Nation is something I look forward to. The characters are well developed and their parts believable, there is no Hollywood tackiness nor any silly additions such as mutants or rampaging armies of psycho bikers, just good baseline characters well woven into a highly believable storyline. You will enjoy it.
