5.0 out of 5 stars I love this book, 22 Nov 2006
The online community is a wonderful resource, but one of the drawbacks is that as new messages are posted, the old ones (with all the knowledge and experience shared in those threads) disappear further and further back into the archives and can be hard to find again. This book brings together some of the best advice given on that community, addressing a wide range of issues and offering several suggestions and opinions on most subjects, all within one dust jacket. The Ladies Loos is an entertaining read as well as a quick and handy one-stop reference; you're guaranteed to learn something from it, be that interesting, useful, or both.

5.0 out of 5 stars Possibly the most useful thing you'll buy all year, 22 Nov 2006
By Jenna Matthews (London, UK) - See all my reviews
A fantastic book, incredibly useful and full of advice on just about everything. If you remember the Every Girl's Handbook type books they used to publish when you were a kid, this is like one of those for grown-up women. It's a fantastic buy, and I'm getting every woman I know a copy for Christmas. So should you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Every girl should have this book, 24 Nov 2006
By Suzylou (London) - See all my reviews
I have been a member of The Ladies Loos since it started, and can't imagine not having the advice and support of this fantastic group of women. Now their tips, tricks and words of wisdom are available to take anywhere - what could be better?

Think of those "how to mend anything" books that your gran had back in the 70s updated for the modern woman, rolled in with beauty tips, domestic advice, you name it. Indespensible.
