I've known Peter Stanley since about 2000 - back in the mists of time when he was a high flying business bank manager in Manchester, nonetheless longing to give up the day job and pursue his profitable hobby of property investing. Nobody was more pleased than I when he finally did just that and I was delighted to help him by creating his first ever website for him! Then he went on to write this excellent and down to earth book, which tells it like it is and lays out a simple, step by step, system for becoming a successful property investor. Even with the credit crunch biting, everything in this book is still relevent - perhaps even more so in this current climate! These are proven, timeless strategies that just work. Well done, Peter.

With so many property books full of hype, spin and self-congratulation, with lots of promises but little practical use to the inexperienced, this book is a perfect antidote. Full of straightforward, accessible and directly applicable guidance, this is a book to inspire confidence and galvanise you to highly profitable action !

This book is a must for anyone planning to invest in property for the first time as it explains how to go about it in a very simple, easy to read fashion. It tells you where to start and what to do next. It also advises what positive and negative aspects of property investing to watch out for. Peter obviously doesn't believe the investment process is rocket science as he explains it all in a practical, down to earth way. If you're looking for a simple, common sense approach to buying property this is the book to read....
