5.0 out of 5 stars Doctor Who Comics: The Worldshapers, 21 Jul 2009
Firstly, anyone who dismisses the sixth Doctor, as an obnoxious and visually loud rubbish emulation of William Hartnell will probably overlook this book. Although his time onscreen as the Doctor was the shows less successful period it should not follow that the comic strips were bad too. Not only were every story from the Sixth Doctor comics funny, insightful into the character and exciting, they were at times frightening and other times downright cool. I would recommend that people only reading the tenth Doctor strips give the others the same chance because you'll see some shining moments, epsecially in the Sixth Doctor Comics volume 1 story 'Voyager' which in many ways is on even footing with a Mike Mignola comic for surreal and graphic storylines and a classic Superman comic in terms of action, pacing and vision.
