Product Description
Once four immortals, bearing swords of power, fought battles in heaven, under the command of the most powerful sword, Aren which has the Elorianen, the Starstone set in its hilt. Now Kere'us, bastard son of the lord of a very minor kingdom is commanded by the recalcitrant goddess Yannya to take Aren from its current owner, a sorcerer, in order to protect her ex-lover who has been condemned to mortality. The problem is that she does not tell him exactly how he is going to do this. He would probably not even start on such a cockeyed quest, only he hasn't got time to think about it, he's too busy running from all the factions who want to kill him, and that includes goodies and baddies alike...bearing in mind of course, that whether they are baddies or goodies depends entirely on your point of view...
About the Author
Ann Walland-Moore was born in Peterborough in 1944, due to the war, but prefers to think of herself as a Londoner, where her father's family have lived and worked in printing for generations and where she herself grew up and started work in the early sixties. She is the oldest of seven children. When her parents moved to Norfolk in the seventies she followed them, working for Norwich City Hall and then a local newspaper. She married Peter Moore in 1973, but kept her maiden name as well since she bred Burmese cats under this name, and Peter got fed up with people calling him Mr Walland. In 1974 they moved to North Walsham and have lived in the same house ever since. Before her husband left local government to start his own Town Planning Consultancy, she worked a cook in a hotel and then for the local printer, but is now a partner her husband's business. She is much involved in politics and does the printing for her local party at election time. She is a town councillor. They have three children and two grandchildren who live next door. Her hobbies are, when she has time, patchwork, bead jewellery and gardening.
