Product Description

MODCULTURE.COM

A quality release...For us non-musicians, there's plenty of other content packed in here. Best of all, the pictures.

Scootering Magazine, December, 2005

The introduction is penned by Weller himself... something more than 'just' a collection of sheet music and lyrics.

5.0 out of 5 stars More than just a songbook, an real tribute., 23 Aug 2006
By J. J. Bowen (Wiltshire, UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I bought this, having seen it mentioned in a guitar magazine, purely for the songs, but this book goes a lot further than the usual guitar tab book.

A good bit of band history (OK so fans will know most of this stuff, but it's still good to see it) plus reviews of the songs, interviews and a good selection of period photos.

Hats off to Paul Weller for his role in championing the cause, and for his words in the book.

More than just a songbook this; it's a real tribute to a bunch of lads whose music manages to be both evocative of the Sixties and yet also timeless.
