Fully detailed 1:40,000 scale topographical map of Menorca including street plans for central Ciutadella and Mao (Mahon). All walking routes from Walk! Menorca guidebook are clearly highlighted along with their waypoints. Replacing the popular paper 2nd edition all information has been updated and new design standards incorporated combining masses of useful information with outstanding clarity. In addition to all the things you would expect to find on a map of Menorca are more unusual places such as Lluc al Lari civil war fort, Cricket Club (yes, really) and those up-market Rural Hotels. Quite simply this is the biggest, most comprehensive map of Menorca that is available. Third 'Super-Durable' edition is printed on a high-density polymer with a heat-fused china clay coating using special 100% oxygenation inks. The result is a map that feels like silk but performs as if it is indestructible; its water-proof and almost everything-proof.

Have used this map on two holidays and found it to be very accurate for both paths for walking and roads. Shows all roads including unsealed roads that you will need to use to get to the remote beaches. The usual holiday maker maps don't have the detail that this one has. Places of interest are marked, but there is no tourist info as it is a proper map. Is very durable, not shown any signs of wear and tear despite quite a hammering. In fact, like a twit I managed to throw mine away while cleaning out the car and I am going to buy another. If you want to drive in Menorca,buy this map for directions and a guide book for tourist information.

Just what the serious, and not so serious, Menorca explorer needs!
A good, detailed map, with all the information you need, clearly marked, and in almost indestructible format. Not for the casual tourist who wants basic information, but for those who want to explore a bit more of the island, by car, by foot...a thoroughly good map!

Now fully equipped with map and walking guide, I am looking forward to putting them to the test on our forthcoming holiday in Menorca. The listed waypoints are an added bonus as I always take my Garmin Etrex GPS with me. The walks appear to be well written and the map is very robust - although I hope that no rain will touch it!
