4.0 out of 5 stars Prepare to meet Doom!, 11 Oct 2006
By Ventura Angelo (Brescia, Lombardia Italy) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Modern Pop-art hater and neurotic journalist Lewis finds himself working for a third-rate publication, with creditors gnawing at his heels, and thinks his fate couldn't get any worse, after a distressingly embarrassing incident in France. He was wrong. He's got to confront with his worst fears and loathings as an undercover spy in Doomsbridge Art College, not affectionately called Doom. And Doom it is, his embarrassing past looming over his already poor reputation, the need to produce a work of "art" and fearsome vixens menacing his sanity, as a tumultuous torrent known to have claimed human victims roars below his cell of a room. Will Lewis ever escape Doom?
A farcical, satyrical novel from a female counterpart of Tom Sharpe. Very original!
