Product Description
Synopsis
Mean Mode Median revolves around a brother and sister who at times seem intimately close, but are also see are in fierce competition. They share similar talents - an ability to read and influence others. But they apply their talents in different ways: ways which are intrinsically opposed. And each is fated to suffer the consequences of their actions. Their family, and those whose lives they touch, are caught up in a chain of events manipulated by the pair that lead to unexpected and potentially tragic consequences. Cutting insights into personality, power and humanity draw the reader along, tempting and teasing until the plot unfolds and the reader's view expands with startling clarity. It is the kind of book that you look back on, remember, and savour the resonances of; that you think about long after you have put it down.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dark, Twisted and Clever, 9 Dec 2005
By A Customer
Although the writing style is completely different, this book has the feel of Ian Bank's "The Wasp Factory". It has a dark brooding ness to it, while you are compelled to read on. At times, the reader is made to laugh at situations that perhaps one shouldn't in the everyday while the characters are placed in a very recognisable reality.

Nice twists, clever plot, a great short read!

3.0 out of 5 stars Not your average read., 24 Jan 2005

A book that entices you to sort the villains from the simply maladjusted and yet twists and turns so that you cannot.
It's clever but very readable with good insights into how we think.
