This is a fantastic book for anyone who wants to save the natural resources of our planet and become healthier in the process!
The book is divided into sections covering different aspects of home life from cleaning to cosmetics, holidays to feng-shui. It is packed with hints and tips which are easy to incorporate into a busy lifestyle yet will save money, the planet and cut down on the use of harmful chemicals in our homes. With each section the author has included web addresses making it easy to source the products listed.
Before I found this book I had no idea about how to go about being 'green', even though I realised the importance of trying to 'do my bit'. Now I have taken up many of the suggestions found in this book and as a family we are reaping the benefits. Not only have we saved money, we are healthier (both of my sons suffered with skin complaints which have cleared up since we stopped using commercial cleaning products) and we really are 'doing our bit' for the planet. Don't be put off by the going green cause - ANYONE can take up the suggestions in this book without having a radical overhaul of their routines and lifestyle. I really can't praise this book enough!

I would recommend this book whole heartedley. I have already read it twice over and it becoming like my 'trying hard to be natural' bible. I can't put it down. There are so many tips, suggestions and references for absoulutely everything, from cleaning your house to skincare and everything inbetween. It has certainly made me make many easy changes in my shopping and general living habits.
Anyone buying this book will not be dissappointed. I am now giving it as a gift to my friends.

Janey Lee Grace in her book “Imperfectly Natural Woman” promotes many aspects of the natural way of healthy living and suggests ways of minimising the detrimental effects and cost, both to ourselves and the environment.

It is superbly presented and, for topics of particular interest, contains references to extended sources of information.

The book is well written, interesting, informative and essential reading for anybody interested in their health and saving money by substituting natural products for highly priced commercially available alternatives
