Product Description

Book Description

This book is one of the most comprehensive guides to football grounds currently available and is indeed essential reading for fans travelling to away games. Each Premiership club covers three pages of detailed information, while the Divisions and Conference have two pages each, starting with basic facts and then moving to the practicalities of attending an away event.

The book provides details on the ground itself; future planned developments; ‘getting there’ description whether by car, train, bus or on foot; detailed parking facilities; recommendations on where to eat and drink before the match; lyrics for the home-team song; admission prices; a "Did you know?" trivia on each of the teams; and a photo of each of the grounds and a map.

The Essential Football Fan is a must-have book for anyone planning to travel to away- games. It has been compiled from recommendations and feedback by thousands of supporters and the author himself has visited all of the grounds. This paperback is an indispensable reference book as no other guide offers this depth of information.

5.0 out of 5 stars Essential by name and by nature!, 13 Oct 2003

(REAL NAME)
A real labour of love - transfers seamlessly from the footballgroundguide.co.uk website from which it has developed (there's loads more on the website - old grounds, Scottish clubs etc.) And even if you're not visiting the ground, its still a great pick up, dip in and put down book.
