4.0 out of 5 stars Mick Channon: The Authorised Biography, 8 Jun 2004
This is an enjoyable read for those who seek a nostalgic view of a great football era and a passion for horse racing. You are left with vivid impression of a much liked and talented man who shifts from one world to another with seemingless ease. How many of us yearn to trade our current job for another of our dreams but dare not and how many could excel in both? It is a sentimental read at times but worth reading for some great anecdotes which make the book for me. The author's style is occasionally 'light'and can be forgiven as he manages to build a charismatic picture of Mick Channon.A good relaxed read.
