Opening up this tome was a really nice surprise, I hav'nt seen artwork as amazeing as this since the scarlet cantos, pure eye candy. Written by pat mills too so no worry's there.

One wild book!!!!

This 1st book in the Books of Invasions trilogy, sets the scene for one of the finest fantasy adventures you will ever experience!
You have in your hand quite possibly the greatest amalgamation of storytelling and graphic art ever produced.
Each page is a treasure to read, and the book will whet your apetite for the 2nd book.
I only wish that Mr Clint Langley would let me purchase some of his work so I can frame it and display it with pride on my wall.......
We are all of us Slaine: when we see and read about him, we see ourselves?

A great tale from the vaults of the galaxys greatest comic, 2000AD.
Original storyline along with the best artwork you can imagine puts this up there with the best graphic novels from 2000AD. Simply put, it`s classy stuff.
