Product Description

Product Description

This volume is an examination and analysis of the unseen forces that pervade our universe, and the connection between the planets and human destiny.

From the Inside Flap

Unseen spiritual forces pervade our universe, and for centuries this has been a subject that has mystified scholars and theologians alike. Just what is the connection between the planets and the destiny of man? A Celestial Revelation explores the link between the Zodiac, the constellations and the prophecies particularly in the book of Revelation. The author looks for many answers about the future of man and the second coming of Christ in the Revelation of St John – the book that closes the Bible. In this new study, which gives amazing explanations for many extraordinary events, we rediscover the original teachings of the early Christians.

How do modern events in history fit in with the Bible’s prophetic warnings such as events of the Second World War? Pope Pius XII in November 1940, referring to Nazi aggression, remarked – ‘We believe that the present hour is a dread phase of events foretold by Christ.’ In this fascinating insight into the many visions of ancient Christian prophets, we see just how they relate not only to historical events, but also to the discoveries of the planets. Jesus himself declared that we should expect to see signs in the heavens prior to his return, but just what part do the stars and the constellations play in God’s overall scheme? The Divine plan really is working before our very eyes!

1.0 out of 5 stars My Review, 29 Dec 2003

I heard This Guy on Yahoo Chat.. He sounds a bit crazy/weird to say the least. Just reading through the book, made me chuckle. If anyone BUys this book, they need their head examining. Numerolgy/ astrology mixed up with New age notions.

5.0 out of 5 stars A fascinating interpretation of the bible's obscurest book, 27 Nov 2003
By Chris Mitchell (Bristol United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
The Revelation of St. John is without doubt the most obscure book in the New Testament, rich in allegory but difficult to understand. Andrew Frew's brilliantly readable interpretation of this book looks at the rich symbolism of Revelation, relating it to older prophecies in Daniel and Isaiah, the mystical tradition of the Kabbalah, and the astrological symbolism that underpins the entire book.

The book works purely on this level, as a succinct and understandable interpretation of St. John's Revelation. However, the author then delves deeper into this prophetic work, with its intruiging hints of celestial bodies yet to be discovered - and relates these to the more recently discovered planets of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, thus providing a clear timescale for the events prophesied in the Book of Revelation, and how they may relate to actual historic events of the last two centuries.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Celestial Revelation, 11 Jan 2004
By A Customer
Currently I am about a quarter way through this book. It's well written, and clearly the author's passion for the subject shines through.

The points the book puts across are not ones everyone is going to agree with, but frankly it's all the more interesting for that.

I look forward to completing the book soon. It's certainly not one to read all at once in one sitting, as there's much to digest. But if you've even a vague interest in the subject matter then this book will have a curiosity value at the very least.

You may at times disagree vehemently with the author but it's nothing if not thought provoking.

1.0 out of 5 stars A boring book and quite difficult to make any sense of.
I think the main problem with this book is that it will appeal - if at all - to a very limited audience. Read more
