Product Description

Synopsis
Napoleon once said: "When China is moved it will change the face of the globe." Today these words are becoming a reality through the powerful spiritual vision of the Chinese church to send 100,000 missionaries across China's borders to complete the Great Commission, even in this generation! Here Brother Yun, Peter Yongze ad Enoch Wang, three Chinese church leaders who between them have spent more than 40 years in prison for their faith, explain the history and present-day reality of the Back to Jerusalem movement. Christians everywhere, who are all called to fulfill the Great Commission, will be thrilled by this testimony and inspired to live bolder lives as disciples of Jesus Christ today.

5.0 out of 5 stars Back To Jerusalem, 17 Nov 2003
This is a great little book about the amazing growth and vitality of the (unregistered) Chinese church. After 50 years of communism, the Chinese church is in great shape and is reckoned to have 100 million evangelical members. And they are aiming to send out 100,000 evangelical missionaries across Asia (and back to Jerusalem) over the coming few years. (Can they spare a few for pagan Britain?) After 50 years of liberalism, the church in the UK is just about dead on its feet and going nowhere with fewer and fewer members. Why the difference? This book will help you understand.
Modern Chinese missionaries are trained to jump from first floor windows without hurting themselves; wriggle out of handcuffs in 30 seconds; and give away their faith in the police van taking them to their execution.
They don't train church members in the West like they train Chinese church members today (at least, not in my neck of the woods)...
This inspiring book offers some great Chinese wisdom for the church in the West, such as: "The Christian church does not need a single new building..." Hallelujah!
If you are a Christian in despair over the appalling state of the church in the West, read this book...

5.0 out of 5 stars Stunning and Inspirational!!, 27 Nov 2005
By A Customer
I had already read the fabulous and challenging book about Brother Yun the Heavenly Man before I found this. I found this book simply brilliant. It starts with a short introduction of the history of the Chinese church and includes some amazing testimonies from three house church leaders. It leaves you wondering how to help and what you can do while knowing that you have to do something.

5.0 out of 5 stars Jesus comes back when they are Back to Jerusalem., 8 May 2007

Perhaps the things of this book should not be so widely known, because many people in many countries might be stirred up to anger. The story is really a miraculous one, firstly of how Jesus Christ has worked in China as a nation in recent decades, building up a church that is growing at an alarming pace to the communist government there, but with a refined vision. Tghat vision is to take the good news of Jesus Christ all the way back to Jerusalem from China, reaching every Hindu, Buddhist and muslim nartion on the way.
the men who really wrote this book have 40 years in Chinese prisons behind them, with no other charge than believeing in the Lord Jesus Christ. from God they have learned that the special role of the chinese in these end times is to reach the nations that appear to be closed. while the governments of Mohammedan nations suspect missionaries from the west, they haven't yet grasped that Jesus is for the Chinese too.
Sorrow pours forth from the book too, as we are told of heart-breaking stories of people who lost their families because they where thrown into jail, and their children brought up in communist orphanages. Still other stories tell of God intervening and healing people, even bringing a badly injured baby back from the dead.
the passion of these Chinese believers alöso puts Christians in the west to shame, as they declare over and again that they are ready to go out of China and die for the gospel. read this book, and then pray about your purpose in these times that we live in.
