5.0 out of 5 stars top read!!, 29 Sep 2003
By A Customer
Very hard to put down. Excellent research and writing style by Wheatman - brings Wraith's character / personality through well. History of the Krays was refreshing and didn't drag on. Gangland Newcastle chapter was again very well researched and offered different suggestions to the Sibbet murder.

It offers a different angle to all the other Kray books - telling us about what they were like behind bars and what they were REALLY like. Well done to both of them!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Magnificent read, 18 Sep 2003

I would like to congratulate Steve on such a brilliant book.I found The Krays The Geordie Connection a very hard book to put down once you start reading it. It gives a real insight to who the Krays were as people and not the Krays as criminals or gangsters.

5.0 out of 5 stars AT LAST!! A GOOD KRAY BOOK, 27 Aug 2002
I have had the pleasure of reading an early manuscript of this book. The focus is on the later years, a kray era untouched or badly skimmed over. The 60's legend has been done to death. The twins were actually more powerfull in the later years & I for one find this era more interesting & mythical.

What we have here is book written about the kray's, by a man who knew them. Steve was actually Charlie Kray's right hand man at Ron's funeral & carried out many a business project with Reg. Reg actually gave Steve some of his writings, which are also included here.
You will never get the full picture of the ' KRAY TWINS' without this book !!!!!
