Book Description
What do you do when your homeland is invaded by a legion of highly trained and well armed Roman soldiers? Hide under the mattress? Nail planks of wood over the doors and windows? Hope theyll all go away if you just sit down and have a bit of a pray?
Or do you try to bring down the oppressive new government by a carefully conceived plan of sabotage, deception and outright guerrilla warfare?
No of course you dont, because they always look under the mattress.
A Little Roman Therapy is an historical comedy set in fourth century Britannia. It is the first of a series of books in this era and tells the story of Senator Vesuvius' obsession for power with the help of his two servants. Along the way he encounters vengeful assassins, modified camel racing and a plot to implicate him in a dastardly murder.
Oh yes, and Herda, Gerda, Sven and Netto, the four Norsemen of the Apocalypse.
