I used the hardback edition of this guide and can't wait to use the new paperback version, which is much easier to transport, although the content is exactly the same in quality, the added benefits are superior, ie, colour maps, colour pictures (what a luxury, especially important for Brazil - a land of contrasts), the great essentials section is extremely useful - you have to try it and you will be ever-converted. It covered my trip to Salvador, Pantanal and Rio, as well as Paraty and reaches the parts other guidebooks don't cover - well done to such a small publisher - sorry LP can't return.
