5.0 out of 5 stars Helped over 15 mothers in our Mum and Baby Group, 21 Mar 2000
By A Customer
I met a woman in a restaurant with two children and was having trouble with my 8 month old sleeping. She told me about this book. After reading it we bought copies for a Mum and Baby Group. We have just ordered our eighth copy because most of the mothers keep a copy.

The book explaigns the needs and developmental stages babies go through to learn to sleep. Once we understood what was happening we followed the guidelines. Ten days was the longest time it took for any child in our group to sleep through the night.

5.0 out of 5 stars THANK YOU!, 26 Mar 2003
By Catherine Philp (exeter, devon United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
It works, what more can I say? Sanity is restored, my baby sleeps! She went from sleeping in our bed and waking to breast feed every 2 hours, to sleeping for twelve hours solidly and happily in her own room. The next best thing to alchemy!

5.0 out of 5 stars This book saved my life., 18 Feb 2002
By A Customer
As exhausted parents of a 4 month old baby, we were introduced to this book and I can honestly say it changed our life. We read it cover to cover and followed the regime rigidly and within 2 nights our boy, who slept a maximum of about 3 hours at a stretch, was sleeping 12 hours a night. We have recommended this book to at least 10 friends in a similar position and it revolutionised their lives. Frankly it should be available on the NHS. "Un-put-downable, gripping, a masterpiece, a real page-turner."
