It's crunch time for Florence and Arnold! Florence, a small and determined girl, and Arnold, her faithful toy monkey, have reached the bottom of the biscuit tin. But can they think of a plan toersuade Mum to give them any more? 5.0 out of 5 stars No more biscuits said Mum, 14 Jul 2005
By A Customer
A little girl called Florence and her toy monkey, Arnold, eat all the biscuits in the biscuit tin. Her mother gets cross. She tells Florence no more biscuits for a week! Florence and Arnold make up ideas for getting biscuits. They draw pictures of their plans. Then they start dressing up like their plans. They dress up as a tooth fairy and ask for a biscuit. But Mum says no, apples are better for your teeth. Florence tries other plans but they don't work. Finally they dress up as chefs to try and cook biscuits. Mum still says no more biscuits. But they can make Magic Monkey bananas instead. The recipe for Magic Monkey bananas is in the back of the book - they are yummy! The pictures in this book are colourful and funny. This book is funny and I enjoyed it very much. - As spoken by my 5 year old daughter.

4.0 out of 5 stars Colourful and fun, 30 Mar 2006
By A Customer
A great colourful and lively story about a little girl called Florence who eats all the biscuits in the tin with her toy monkey. When Mum says no more biscuits Florence comes up with increasingly ingenious ways to get one! I've used this in storytimes with kids aged from 2 - 6 and they all loved it. Great recipe at the back too. Highly recommended.
