Product Description

Product Description

If you liked Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels...or Snatch...or The Guv'nor...then you'll love this fast-talking gangster novel. Harry Tyler, undercover cop, is the best in his field. Sharp-witted, and cool-headed, he always nails his man. Johnny Too, East-End gangland villain, is handsome, cunning and dangerous and always gets what he wants. So when Harry's next job is to infiltrate Johnny's firm and bring the chaps to book, the results are inevitably explosive and exciting. Determined as ever to get a result, Harry goes deep undercover and immerses himself in the gangland life of women, cars, drugs and guns. A fast-moving and fiery novel, the story blazes a trail through the street-life of London, culminating in a pacey and thrilling finale.

5.0 out of 5 stars RIVETING, 21 April 2007
Great stuff from Talksport Radio presenter Garry Bushell - this novel confirms he really is the thinking man`s Garry Johnson.
Whereas Johnson is the voice of the Chav Generation - Mr Bushell is up there with Martina Cole, George Orwell and Scott Fitzgerald.
THE FACE is so scary that at times that even Hanibal Lector would be shaking in his boots.
This would make a great film

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Stuff, 28 May 2007
The best book I have ever written and a true work of art. It is a cult book that deserves mass recognition.
Garry the ex-SUN journo and now STAR of TalkSport Radio - the thinking man`s Paul Wellings and Jon Gaunt is a giant writer with a huge talent and a small ego.

5.0 out of 5 stars BRILLIANT and MORE, 17 May 2007
This book is the `son` of THE LONG GOOD FRIDAY and `cousin` of LOCK STOCK`...
Garry Bushell - godfather of punk - Star on Sunday TV columnist - can now add author to his list of credits.
This novel is the best book since 1984 and obviously the inspiration for Till Death Us Do Part...
Would make a great film.
