The inspiration for the individuals and groups who combined to make this book, is that England and the English are being erased. This recognition gave rise to a Campaign for an English Parliament and Steadfast magazine.
There are 44 works in this compilation, articles, stories and poems. We are given insights into what can only be understood as oppression, even persecution of English people such as the 75 -year old man who was arrested on Merseyside for writing a referrence to being English on a wall.
This is a significant step towards the English obtaining something like human rights and is positive in suggesting ways forward such as reclaiming our language and relinking to our culture as it is constantly undeermined by not only Americanisation but also to slot us into the Totalitarian European State.
