The book covers storylines new and old, and is packed with images and sizeable paragraphs of information. Not only is there an aspect of humour in the book, yet there is also a great deal of vital gossip of the stars of this soap that goes from strength to strengthThe body of the book is taken up by profiles of the characters and who plays them, although some of the humour may not be favourable among the devout Emmerdale fanatics. Personally, I feel that the book is more suited to the neutral soap viewer, as the title is one of a series. I was quitre taken aback by the length of time it took me to read the book - 1hour. Yet I'm a quick reader, and whether you wish to adore the pictures or read the text repeatedly, you'll find the book very enjoyable.
