1.0 out of 5 stars Interesting title - but extremely inaccurate!, 16 Aug 2004
By Mr. K. Nicholson "Keith_NN" (UK) - See all my reviews

Nice pocket sized book (10.5cm x 15cm) but at only 16 pages it makes you wonder how they managed to cram in so many mistakes! While it was nice to see the addition of Martha Tabram and Alice McKenzie in the walk (some people argue the first and last Ripper victims) it was criminal that Liz Stride (accepted as one of the five canonical victims) is completely absent!

Ripper facts in this tomb are so bad that it makes you wonder if the other site information is correct... although it is nice to see none Ripper sites included just because they are contemporary of the time.

I recommend you don't bother with this title and buy John Eddleston's "Jack The Ripper: An Encyclopaedia" instead, it has its own Ripper Walk in the Resources chapter.

4.0 out of 5 stars Well Recommended, 3 Oct 2009
By Kay Price (Lincs) - See all my reviews

This walk was very interesting and informative, As recommended in the book you wouldn't want to do this walk after dark but in day light there is no problem. Good walking shoes are needed as it is quite a long walk.
A must for all Ripper fans.
