At first I was a little disappointed with this book, having read the review in Bizarre and been tempted by the selection of photos they display (Bizarre clearly chose the best ones) I had hoped for a similar standard throughout the book. Alas the majority are rather poor screen shots with no supporting text save the two pages of introduction.
After a couple of passes through you will notice the pictures fill the pages completely, leaving no borders. Many cross the spine of the book which is detrimental to the scene displayed. Every picture has a short line of mixed katakana/kanji which is presumably the title of the film it comes from. Most Japanese people could translate this for you.
It isn't pornography and it isn't art - it is just a collection of stills from Japanese romantic/pornographic films. I don't recommend it, whatever your reason for wanting it. But if you do buy it you will keep it forever.
