This is a very digestible book which gives the beginner all the basic information he needs about how to make nicely built, painted and weathered AFV kits, besides offering a few useful tips to make life easier for more advanced modellers. Packed with colour photos, this book also avoids falling into the trap that a number of other authors have fallen into, namely describing in great detail WHAT they've done without actually describing HOW to do it! If there's one criticism to be levelld at this book, it's that the sheer number of colour photos often breaks up the flow of the text, and some of the picture captions are at first glance difficult to assign to the relevant photos. But these are comparatively minor quibbles really about an otherwise very good book.
