From the Author
Of the original 14 authors from the 1980s version, 10 have been completely replaced and the remaining four have had their stories updated and rewritten. The technical detail, cameras, equipment and working practices have all been completely updated, including large new sections on digital cameras and practices. There are some great new photographers in the book, alongside traditional favourites, who are producing very exciting and innovative material. Check out Emma Delves-Broughton and Chas Ray Krider in particular. While Iain Banks (not the famous sci-fi author) wrote the original book he had no involvement with this new edition, which was the work of myself, Duncan Evans. I'd like to thank all the photographers who made an effort for the first half of the book and gladly gve up their time and pictures to make it happen.
