It gives a flowing account of the life of this eminent blind concert organist, pianist, and composer; who was soloist with the Berlin, London, and New York Philharmonic Orchestras, and the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Tracing his life from his birth in Hull in 1865, his education at the York Blind School and at the Normal College, Norwood; also describing his North American tours, and those in South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
