About the Author
Barbara is an experienced travel writer and editor who has worked extensively for travel publishers such as Fodor's and the AA. Born in New York and educated at Oberlin College in the U.S.A., Barbara moved to the U.K. in 1987. She and her family now live in South Yorkshire. She has edited several Hidden Places titles including South Wales, Essex, Gloucestershire & Wiltshire, Derbyshire, England and Somerset. Born and educated in the West Country, Sarah is a fully qualified graphic designer with a degree in design & technology. She is now a full time illustrator and has been associated with the Hidden Places and Hidden Inns series since 1989.
